Hello.  I am creating a video inspired by the current unrest and I would love you to participate!

I am collaborating with songwriter/recording artist David Ruffin, Jr and our ask of you is simple. We would like to include a video portrait of you, staring straight into your smartphone, computer or video camera, whilst meditating on your feelings about the current state of our society. Simply don your favorite face covering, count silently to five, then reach up and remove your face covering, counting again to five silently to yourself.

Our Mission is to commit our creative voices to the task of reminding ourselves and others of our shared responsibility to preserve humanity.  Mr. Ruffin has written a song that we feel speaks directly to this mission entitled Running Out Of Time (or R.O.O.T. as well like to affectionately refer to the tune). Take a listen to the song here.

Please feel no pressure to participate as we understand that this is an unusual time filled with unfamiliar feelings and experiences.  However, if you do feel that you can participate, we thank you in advance and are grateful for your contribution. Please feel free to extend our invitation to your own friends and colleagues.  This is our only world, our only humanity and now is our time to do whatever we can because it does truly feel like we’re Running Out Of Time.

Sincerely,

Charles Little II & David Ruffin, Jr.
